Description

Estimated value: $8,100,000 - $8,500,000 This project includes a 10,643 SF Fire Station. The proposed Fire Station will be a one story wood and steel framed structure with four (4) apparatus bays, support spaces, crew living areas, and six (6) sleeping rooms. The site work includes storm water mitigation, utilities, landscaping, and parking. Overall substantial completion shall be achieved within three hundred and sixty-five (365) calendar days after the Owner' Notice to Proceed. Final Completion shall be achieved within forty-five (45) Calendar days after substantial completion. All bids must be accompanied by a "Good Faith Token" in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent (5%) of the total bid. As this is an online bidding process the Bidder's original hard-copy Bid Bond must be submitted in a sealed envelope prior to the bid opening deadline. For full Bid Bond submittal requirements refer to Information to Bidders. Technical questions regarding the scope of this project should be put in writing up until three working days prior to bid opening and directed to Sarah Elley, Architect, TCA Architecture + Planning Inc., 6211 Roosevelt Way NE, Seattle, WA 98115, Email: sarah@tca-inc.com.
