Gavins Point Tree Removal

This project consists of cutting/clearing all woody vegetation (including all trees) along fence line one (1) linear foot on either side of the existing fence line for the entire distance of the area to be fenced. Stumps from the cut vegetation shall not exceed more than two (2”) inches above the existing ground surface. The contractor shall not remove any other vegetation outside of the one (1) linear foot range on either side of the fence, without the approval of the COR. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to properly dispose of all trees, limbs, branches, and any other vegetative debris or material off Government property – and secure a proper disposal location. The Contractor is permitted to chip and/or mulch any trees, limbs or related debris on Government property; however, all chipped/mulched material shall be removed from Government property. All materials shall be transported and disposed of in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Only cut/cleared trees, limbs, branches, and other debris within one (1) linear foot of the fence on either side, may be disposed of, or mulched by the contractor, unless otherwise given permission by the government.
