Description | The Federal Aviation Administration utilizes the Acquisition Management System (AMS) in place of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). This is a Request for Proposal for the HVAC upgrade of the Air Traffic Control Tower and Base Building at Wilmington International Airport in Wilmington, NC. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the HVAC Replacement requirement. The FAA anticipates an award of a Firm-Fixed-Price contract type for this requirement. The project size for this requirement is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This contract is anticipated to be a Competitive Set-Aside to Total Small Business per 3.6.1.3.2 if the Contracting Officer determines the contractor is responsible and the offered price is fair, reasonable and in the best interest of the FAA. THE NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM SIZE STANDARDS (NAICS) FOR THIS REQUIREMENT IS 238220 - Plumbing, Heating and Air-Conditioning Contractors and the size standard for the NAICS code is $16.5M. IN ORDER TO DO BUSINESS WITH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT YOU MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM). SEE AMS CLAUSE 3.3.1-33 "SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT" (JULY2018).
