Description | This federal aid project includes pedestrian accessibility and safety upgrades at two (2) signalized intersections and ten (10) unsignalized intersections located in the Town of Ramapo. The work will include removal and replacement of curb ramps to meet ADA requirements, installation of new signage, restriping of crosswalks and other pavement markings, and pedestrian signal upgrades. The portion of work which will be the responsibility of the Contractor is generally described as: 1. On-site maintenance and protection of traffic during construction at all locations 2. Survey and layout of items in Contract 3. Installation of Signage 4. Installation of ADA compliant sidewalks, ramps, and crosswalks 5. New curb installation 6. Pavement striping 7.
