US 12/SR 261 Vicinity - Replace Culvert

STIP ID 501209O07 The existing culvert/cattle crossing at this location east of Dayton is deteriorating due to fire and water damage. This project will replace the culvert to reduce the risk of damage to the roadway and maintain route continuity. As of September 27, 2022, this project is in Design status. Preliminary engineering is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2021 and environmental design is expected to be complete in the fourth quarter of 2022. The contract advertisement is expected in first quarter of 2023 and construction is anticipated to be operationally complete in the fourth quarter of 2023.
