Description | Question Deadline 10/14/2022 at 5:00 PM CT Questions and inquiries about this Solicitation may be submitted electronically. City of Georgetown is soliciting bids for Electric Operations Streetlight Bulb and Head Replacement Services with the following definitions, term and conditions of bidding. Upon Citys acceptance of a Bid and issuance of a Purchase Order or Notice to Proceed, this Invitation to Bid shall be incorporated into the agreement between the Parties. a. In the event of a streetlight burn out, the City shall contact the Successful Bidder to replace the specific streetlight in need of bulb/head replacement. The Successful Bidder shall dispatch a worker to pick up the replacement 240-volt photo control LED DLL127F 1.5 J50 bulb from the City at Texas Electric Cooperative, 100 Cooperative Way, Georgetown, TX 78626, after which the worker use the Successful Bidder's vehicle for travel to work site(s). If the worker determines additional troubleshooting is necessary, they will contact the City before performing troubleshooting services. Once the replacement and/or troubleshooting services are complete, the worker(s) shall return the salvaged material to the City at Texas Electric Cooperative, 100 Cooperative Way, Georgetown, TX 78626. All services for bulb/head replacement due to burnout shall be completed by the Successful Bidder within six (6) days or less of being contacted by the City. b. Group street light replacement services shall be pre-planned by the City. The service visit to replace the streetlight bulbs and/or heads shall be grouped either by location or by street and shall follow the same process and guidelines outlined for streetlight burn out bulb/head replacement services. |
