Description | The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County (Metro) is soliciting proposals for a provider to service a new shelter with a capacity of 300 beds for single individuals and couples experiencing homelessness curing times of extreme weather conditions in the Nashville area You may contact Marissa Conklin at Marissa.conklin@nashville.gov with questions regarding iSupplier or you may email iSupplier@nashville.gov Inquiries All inquiries must be submitted by Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 2PM Central Time using the online discussions feature of the iSupplier system. Questions will be answered formally via Amendment to the solicitation soon after the deadline for submitting questions. Scope Details Provider to service a new emergency overflow shelter (EOS) with a capacity of 300 beds for single individuals and couples experiencing homelessness curing times of extreme weather conditions "New" EOS beds are beds that are not currently included as part of a proposer's recognized bed capacity. Awarded Vendor will maintain a low-barrier entry, severe weather injury prevention program providing basic shelter operations (showers, two meals (dinner and breakfast), a bed (cot) open from 7PM to 9AM when temperatures are forecasted to be 32 degrees or below in zip code 37203 other extreme weather emergencies as called upon by the Mayor's Office of Emergency Management (OEM) Population Served: Individuals, couples and people with pets experiencing homelessness - inclusive of adults 18-24 members of the LGBTQ+ community people with physical, mental, emotional, behavioral, and developmental disabilities survivors of domestic violence Location of shelter is 3230 Brick Church Pike (includes existing cots already located at facility). Maintenance, cleaning and replacement of cots will be at Provider's expense. Capacity of Brick Church is 250 and other properties should be included in proposal for surge. Additional locations identified must be located within the boundary lines of Davidson County, be within one (1) half mil of a transit stop and must comply with all applicable building, safety and health codes and shelter requirements as defined |
