HVAC Renovation at Elkins Operations Center

The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources is soliciting bids on behalf of the Wildlife Resources Section to establish a contract for the Renovations of the HVAC systems at the Elkins Operations Center in Elkins, West Virginia. Miller Engineering is serving as the Engineer on this project.The scope of the service to be provided will be more clearly defined in the specifications included herewith. The Chief Procurement Officer reserves the right to reject the bid of any vendor as Non-Responsible in accordance with West Virginia Division of Natural Resources, when the Chief Procurement Officer determines that the vendor submitting the bid does not have the capability to fully perform, or lacks the integrity and reliability to assure good-faith performance. Pursuant to the requirements contained in W. Va. Code 5- 22-1(c), All Vendors submitting a bid on a construction project shall furnish a valid bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid protecting the State of West Virginia. The bid bond must be submitted with the bid.The apparent successful Vendor shall provide a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract value. The performance bond must be received by the Property and Procurement Office prior to Contract award.The apparent successful Vendor shall provide a labor/material payment bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract value. The labor/material payment bond must be delivered to the Property and Procurement Office prior to Contract award.The apparent successful Vendor shall provide a two (2) year maintenance bond covering the roofing system. The maintenance bond must be issued and delivered to the Property and Procurement Office prior to Contract award.
