Replacement of Fire Sprinkler Heads - Clinton Service Center

1. Provide labor and material to replace existing 160 (approximately) corroded sprinkler heads in the east truck bays, in accordance with NFPA 25: 5.2.1.1.2. . 2. Workers shall not disturb the normal operations of the buildings under these specifications. 3. Contractor shall take necessary precautions to cover surrounding areas so as to not damage floor mats, machinery, doors, furniture, etc. Ensure that all appropriate measures are taken to fully protect all surfaces, persons and adjacent areas before, during and after the work, including, but not limited to: walls, wall coverings, floors, office equipment, furnishings, ceiling, person, vehicles, property that in, near or within sphere that could be affected by the work; weather elements, such as: sun, wind, rain, humidity and outside forces. 3. Post all appropriate signs and barricades where applicable prior to any work being performed. 4. All work shall be done in a neat and clean manner by an experienced, capable workforce 5. The Contractor is responsible for the safe disposal of all materials used in this project in accordance with EPA guidelines and regulations. 6. It will be the responsibility of the Contractor to adequately prepare all surfaces 7. Drips and spillage shall be removed by the Contractor. 8. The County reserves the right to withhold any or all payments until any defects in performance have been satisfactorily corrected.
