Lower Gwynedd Elementary School Quartz-LVT-VCT and Terrazzo Flooring Installation

The proposal shall include all cost to remove and dispose of existing Fritz & VCT tile and base, remove and dispose of existing rubber stair treads, risers and landings. Patch, at a depth of 1/8”, the entire areas receiving new tile or sheet flooring. 1. Remove existing Fritz tile and cove base, furnish and install new UPOFLOOR Mosaic Collection Quartz tile and new Roppe rubber 4.5” cove base in corridors highlighted in Green on floor plans pages 34 & 35. Current corridor tile has a 12” (3) three color pattern to be duplicated with new 24” x 24” tile. 2. Remove existing vinyl tile and cove base and furnish and install new Shaw Contract, Basstones Commercial Heterogeneous Sheet flooring and new Roppe 4.5” rubber cove base in classrooms 108, 109, 110, 111, 116, 117, 118, 119, 124, 125, 126, 127, 208, 209, 210, 211, 216, 217, 218, 219, 224, 225, 226 & 227, highlighted in Red on floor plans pages 34 & 35. Installation will include cutting classroom carpet back 3” and installing rubber transition piece at new sheet flooring edge. 3. Remove existing VCT tile and cove base and furnish and install new Shaw Contract JOY SQUARED LVT 24” x 24” tile and new Roppe 4.5” rubber cove base in room Art Room 114 highlighted in Purple on the floor plan page 34. (3) Three color pattern to be installed. 4. Remove existing rubber stair treads, risers and landings and replace new Roppe rubber stair treads, risers and landings in main and rear stairwells highlighted in Blue on the floor plan pages 34 & 35. 5. Remove existing Fritz tile and cove base, grind subfloor to manufactures specifications, prepare floor with moisture treatment. Install 2 color Terrazzo flooring matching existing pattern with 5” Terrazzo base and a (3) letter school insignia in the Main Lobby highlighted in Yellow on the floor plan page 34. 6. Alternate #1: Remove existing VCT tile and cove base and furnish and install new Armstrong VCT tile and new Roppe 4.5” rubber cove base in main office, nurse’s office and custodial closets highlighted in Brown on the floor plan page 34 & 35.
