Description | the reconstruction of Three (3) single family units with 1157 square feet per unit. All units must be completed within 150 days from the notice to proceed. Only contractors with a minimum of 5 years of successful home building will be accepted. If you are a first-time bidder on the TDHCA HOME Program, a list of references will be required and will be reviewed. To demonstrate contractor's qualifications to perform the work, Contractor shall submit written evidence such as financial data, present commitments and such other data as may be called for in the Contractor's Qualification Statement . Contractor shall provide a performance and payment bond or standby letter of credit with requirements and conditions as specified for the total amount of projects to be awarded. Contractor must provide proof of Liability Insurance and Builders Risk Insurance. All work must be met the following codes: 2018 International Residential Code, Energy Requirements according to Texas Health and Safety Code Chapter 388, 2306.514 for accessibility , all local building codes, standards and specifications. Contractor must ensure that employees/applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or national origin. The contract will be subject to EEO and other applicable cross cutting regulations. The City may hold bids for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to contract award.
