Grass Mowing and Trimming for City Park Areas

Maintain designated City parklands and parcels in a clean, neat, and orderly appearance, suitable to its intended active or passive recreational use. This includes mowing, trimming, edging and clean-up as indicated in the scope of work. a. All lawn mowing, including but not limited to trimming, edging, and cleanup; b. Mowing shall be done weekly, or as needed, as directed by the City; c. Edge fully around all hard edges, all fence lines, trees, and headstones; d. Remove all grass clippings from walkways, parking lots, and other paved areas (including trails); e. Clean up trash and debris on grass before mowing; f. Repair, replace, and satisfactorily correct all damage to lands, grass, and vegetation; g. Leave grass clippings on the lawn to decompose, unless in such significant clumps or piles that would damage or suffocate the grass h. Catch cemetery lawn clippings; i. Do not blow grass onto any roadway, parking area, storm drains, or adjacent private property; j. Do not mow in severe wet conditions so as to damage the turf, drainage or soil; k. Take every precaution to avoid spilling or leaking petroleum products on lawns or parking lots. If such spills or leaks occur, the contractor will take immediate steps to clean up the spill in accordance with recommended standards for dealing with spillage of hazardous materials; I. Follow the City's recommendation regarding lawn maintenance during drought conditions. Check page no 9 for all location that mowing and trimming.
