Install Mini Split Systems, Farrell, PA

The contractor shall provide all plant, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and transportation to accomplish the following work, which consists of but is not limited to replacing the existing mini split in room 143, eliminate eight (8) PTAC units from system and block off outside air intakes on the eight (8) PTAC units in rooms 148, 148A, 148B, 148C, 148D, 146, 150,151, and install multi zone mini splits with ceiling mounted cassettes, fresh air intakes and digital wall mounted thermostats, thermostats are to be enclosed with a keyed plastic cover. Contractor shall be required to size the mini split AC units and ceiling cassettes to meet the heating and cooling loads for the rooms mentioned. Contractor shall check the drawings for the approximate locations of the outdoor condensing units. This installation will require new electrical connections to include new conduit, new wiring, switches, breakers, and digital thermostats. The Systems shall have a certified Energy Star Rating and a minimum 20.5 SEER. Replace the kitchen water heater and expansion tank. Any building materials used or installed during this project shall be verified by the contractor to be non-asbestos containing building materials.
