D and R Sewer Rehabilitation Program CIPP Lining Canal Road

The Base Bid includes CIPP lining of the existing 48-inch sewer from the manhole in the intersection of Alexander Road and Canal Road to the terminus manhole at the Stony Brook Regional Sewerage Authority pump station. The length to be CIPP lined is approximately 760 feet of 48-inch sewer and also includes traffic control, plugging of the 48-inch sewer and 8-inch sewer, having a 2000 to 3000 gallon pumper truck to pump sewage and haul to another site on standby, and clearing needed to access manholes for the pipe lining. Cleaning and videoing of the sewer before and after the project is also required. Three sewer manholes will be repaired for rim leaking. This location is in the D&R environmental protection area and all care must be provided. Quantities include but are not limited to 760 feet of cured in place pipe (CIPP) lining, which shall include all wastewater pumping and hauling and other appurtenant work to complete the lining of the 48-inch sewer.
