Grand Junction Fire Department Fire Station #3 Construction

Construction management and general contractor services to construct the new Fire Station #3 on 25 1/2 Road. This project includes the construction of a new Fire Station #3 at Pomona Park on 25 ½ Road. The proposed total building area will be approximately 10,500 square feet with a capability of housing 3 to 4 pieces of fire equipment including an engine and ambulance. The station will be staffed 24 hours a day (3 shifts of up to 8 fire personnel). The building will include office space, residential areas, storage, fitness, and drive-through bays for fire apparatus with full length floor trench drains. The new fire station building will sit adjacent to the existing station. 19 total parking spaces (including 2 ADA accessible parking spaces) are included in the design. Concrete sidewalks will run along the perimeter of the building for ease navigation of the building outdoor area. The south side of the building will feature a fenced courtyard. Existing mature trees shall be protected as shown on the landscape plans. The new irrigation system for the Fire Station will be connected to the Pomona Park irrigation system and have a back-up connection to the building domestic line.
