Aggregate Delivered

It is the purpose of these specifications to provide manufactured aggregate materials for highway projects. The furnished aggregate shall be a well-graded manufactured material and meet or exceed sieve specifications for both the type 2 and type 4 aggregate. All stone used in manufacturing shall be angular in shape; to provide the best material cohesiveness. The Bidder agrees to furnish the materials specified, loaded in trucks, and delivered to each delivery site specified in Essex County, New York. The Bidder shall be capable of supplying and providing the specified transportation necessary to furnish and deliver aggregate to the designated bid sites. All cost will be calculated based on Tons, for the conversion factor from cubic yards to tons.
