Description | Maple Street & Upper Maple Street Phase I, II & III - The section of Maple and Upper Maple Street that connects Rt 6 and Rt 101 is heavily traveled and in need of upgrades. This project is intended to be implemented over a period of several years and would include pavement restoration and pedestrian improvements. Sources of funding are anticipated to be LOTCIP (Local Transportation Capital Improvement Program) or BUILD (Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Developments). As of October 3, 2022, this project is in the conceptual phase and on indefinite hold. An engineer has not been selected. Construction could be several years away. This project is included in the Town of Killingly FY 2021 - FY 2025 CIP. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
