Main Street Sidewalk Improvements

New sidewalk and lighting conduit along Main Street. SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION New sidewalk to be constructed as depicted in plans on north side of Main Street between Boone Street and Moore Street. New sidewalk is also to be constructed on south side of Main Street between Moore Street and Highwater Road. Sidewalk on the south side of Main Street is to be removed and reconstructed between Kenton and Moore Street. SIDEWALK REPAIR Locations will be determined by City of Bromley representative in the field. These locations will include removal of existing sidewalk, regrading, forming and pouring of new sidewalk. The locations will be no less than 15 LF and includes transition from new sidewalk (5 feet wide) to existing sidewalk (4 feet wide). CONDUIT CONSTRUCTION Plan Sheets from Duke Energy show the locations of conduit to be placed for future lighting. Conduit should be placed in the utility strip between curb and sidewalk at depths identified on Duke Energy plans wherever possible. Restoration of any kind is incidental to the conduit bid item.
