Construction of the Reidsville Rural Ready Site Utilities Project

The project scope includes the extension of water and sewer infrastructure to the 55-acre site. Work includes 2,455 feet of 12-inch water line, 1,185 feet of 8-inch gravity sewer and manholes, 2,755 feet of 6-inch force main, and one sewer lift station. The project will also include clearing, grading, and erosion control for 9.0 acres of the site. Grading includes approximately 65,000 cubic yards of cut and fill on site, 14,000 square feet of segmental block retaining wall, and 150 feet of 48" RCP storm drainage. A bid alternate for an additional 525 feet of 12-inch water line, 30 feet of 96-inch RCP storm drainage, 8,500 cubic yards of grading and 4,000 square feet of segmental block retaining wall is also included.
