Description

Replacement of Existing Filter Media and Associated Work.Rehabilitation of Existing Water Well Number 10 and Associated Work.Installation of New Automatic Reading Meters within the Water Distribution System. The Work Shall Consist of: BASE BID: Providing All Labor, Equipment, and Materials Required to Replace Existing Softener Media, Piping, Valves, Chlorination Equipment, High Service Pumps, Plant Flow Meters, Electrical Controls, and Appurtenances Along with Rehabilitation of Existing Water Wells Numbers 9 and 11, and Associated Work Within the Existing Treatment Facility Site. As evidence of good faith of the bidder, a Bid Guarantee equivalent to 5% of the base bid plus any additive alternates, consisting of a firm commitment, such as a bid bond, certified check, or cashiers check, shall accompany each bid as assurance that the bidder will, upon acceptance of his bid, execute such contractual documents as may be required and within the time specified City of Jeanerette does not subscribe to an online bid submittal service.Complete Bid Documents for this project are also available in electronic form and may be obtained without charge and without deposit from Sellers & Associates, Inc. Each bid shall be submitted only on the Louisiana Uniform Public Work Bid Form provided in the specifications. Best's Key Rating Guide to write individual bonds up to 10% of policyholders' surplus, as shown in the A.M. Best's Key Rating Guide, or by an insurance company in good standing licensed to write bid bonds which is either domiciled in Louisiana or owned by Louisiana residents. The successful Contractor will be required to execute a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract as more fully defined in the Bidding Documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. In accordance with R.S, the provisions and requirements of this section and those stated in the bidding documents shall not be waived by any entity.
