Description | Rolling Fork Drainage District in the Office of Allen S. Woodard at 190 East Race Street, Rolling Fork, Mississippi for Cutting, Restoring, Repairing and Rehabilitating District Ditches on an as Needed Basis for the Year Commencing October 1, 2022 and Ending September 30, 2023. Bidders Should Take Notice That the District Requires a Separate Excavator/trackhoe for Digging/excavating and for Cutting, Thus Bids Which Offer Only One Excavator/trackhoe With Heads That Can Be Interchanged Will Not Be Considered for Both Types of Work. The Bidder Will Furnish in Its Bid the Equipment Listed Below on a Per Hour Basis for Digging/excavating and a Per Hour Basis for Cutting for the Above-described Work: (1) Excavator/trackhoe With a Minimum Reach of 32 Feet and a Minimum Horsepower of 180 and Which Shall Have a Standard Digging Head. (2) Excavator/trackhoe Which Shall Be 2007 Year Model or Newer With a Minimum Reach of 30 Feet, Minimum Weight of 25 Tons, Minimum Under Carriage Length of 14 Feet 8 Inches, Minimum Track Width of 32 Inches, Minimum Ground Pressure of 5.35 Psi, Minimum Horsepower of 159 and Which Shall Have a Mower Head With a Minimum 42 Inch Cutting Head With Fixed Non-carbide Teeth on a Rotating Drum, Knives With Cutting Surface That Can Be Sharpened in Field. The Bidder Must Follow the Insurance Guidelines of the Rolling Fork Drainage District, and a Certificate of Liability Insurance With Sealed Bid Naming the District as Additional Insured Thereon. The Board Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids and to Waive Formalities.
