Fitness Center Wi-Fi Monitoring

This performance work statement (PWS) is to provide wireless internet capabilities, captive portal, access monitoring, remote access/maintenance, and supports multi-users access. Project is designed to support the Tyndall AFB Fitness Center customers by allowing controlled and secure Wi-Fi connectivity. The contractor shall provide all design, labor, and materials to install, program, and train Fitness Center staff and Information Systems personnel on infrastructure/equipment. Project will provide 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi access points located at locations in the Fitness Center to provide proper wi-fi coverage. Project will utilize commercial fiber internet connection located in Building 1601. 1 Public Static IP address will be provided by Internet Service Provider (ISP) for use on the Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) gateway. Project will allow for managed/monitored wireless user activity on the fiber internet service at the Fitness Center. Project is designed to support Tyndall AFB Fitness Center staff and customers. Installed system will create a “captive portal” with a “landing page” for users to agree to the Terms and Conditions along with the Internet Acceptable Use Policy prior to being allowed internet access. Monitoring of wireless users will allow for administrative blocking or termination of use of any user violating either the Terms and Conditions or the Internet Acceptable Use Policy. The following is a summary of work: A. Supply and install/provide the following: a. Wireless 2.4GHz access points (quantity to be determined based on heat map) b. 1 – Power over Ethernet (PoE) Switch. c. 1 – SG-4860 Security Gateway Appliance. d. Professional Services Platinum Support. e. Extended Warranty/On-site Maintenance. B. Provide CAT6 network wiring from PoE Switch to access points as needed. C. Create administrative login credential(s) for wireless gateway device for the purpose of creating and managing Fitness Center patron wireless internet accounts. D. Remotely manage/monitor all equipment installed as part of this project for outages and/or issues related to its function.
