Roof Replacement at Turnpike Hightstown Renovated Trades Shop

The replacement of the existing roof and related work at Turnpike Hightstown Renovated Trades Shop at Milepost 67.60 in Hightstown, Mercer County, New Jersey. The purpose of this project is the complete removal and replacement of the existing roofing assembly of the Building at Turnpike Hightstown Renovated Trades Shop within the approximately 26,500 SF remaining building footprint. (The building is undergoing alterations and has been reduced in size as part of Contract T500.363, by others.) As part of this contract, the remaining existing roof is to be removed down to expose the concrete and steel decking, areas of damaged roof decking replaced in kind and sections of firewalls reconstructed as specified on the plans along with the removal of obsolete penetrations, replacement of damaged drain bowls and accessories. The work will also include the installation of a new field perimeter and corner enhancements, a new roof assembly (including all tapered insulation, crickets, metal edge, conduit supports, flashing, roof access and crossover step, walk pads) and all other items depicted within the plans as necessary for completing the roof replacement project. The roof mounted Lightning Protection System must be temporarily disconnected for roof replacement and re-installed with all new components.
