Description | The proposals are for:2ND DYKE ROAD CULVERT (the Project) located on 2nd Dyke Road in the Town of Sand Lake, New York. The Project generally consists of replacement of the existing culvert located on 2nd Dyke Road with a new 7 ft. x 9 ft. x 60 ft. precast concrete box culvert for the Town of Sand Lake. The work shall be completed as shown on the drawings as prepared by Barton & Loguidice, 10 Airline Drive, Albany, NY 12205 and as indicated in the Instructions to Bidders. The work shall commence by October 17, 2022 and be substantially complete by November 18, 2022 To ensure delivery of addenda, only bidders who have obtained the plans from the issuing office will be considered eligible bidders.Contract documents can be provided electronically in PDF format upon request and may be obtained at no cost. Bidders that obtain Contract Documents from a source other than the Town must notify the Town in order to be placed on the official plan holders list to receive Addenda and other Bid correspondence. Bids will only be accepted from firms listed on the official plan holders list. All bids must be made on the official Bid Form or an exact copy by reproduction thereof and enclosed in a sealed envelope. This is a lump sum bid as described in the Information for Bidders. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.The successful Bidder will be required to comply with state prevailing wage requirements of section 220 of New York State Labor Law. The prevailing wage rates can be viewed on the New York State Department of Labor portal The Town of Sand Lake reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities and the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive or conditional bids. |
