Description

Installing approximately 125 linear feet of 4 steel gas line, construction of a new pressure regulator station and extending from that station approximately 4480 linear feet of 6 PE coiled pipe for the purposes of extending a natural gas distribution system main and services to the Livingston Parish Sheriffs Office Training Facility on Woodside Drive. The project also includes crossing of US Hwy 190 by directional bore and a hot-tap tie-in to the 4 High Pressure (200 PSI) feeder line paralleling US Hwy 190 between the roadway and the Canadian National (CN) Railroad tracks. Included in the new gas distribution system is the installation of 6 PE and 4 Steel ball valves, necessary road bores and obstruction bores. The contractor will be asked to trench the PE gas main as marked on the plans to allow installation of detector tape and separation of the tracer wire from the main. The successful bidder will also be required to furnish incidentals such as miscellaneous fittings, tracer wire, detector tape, and provide a pressure test meeting PHMSA requirements on all new piping.
