Description | Sub-bids will be required on the work described in the following Sections and/or Divisions of the contract specifications: Finishes - Division 09. Electrical - Division 16. Sub Bids are due at 1:00pm on August 16th. The Work of this Contract consists of the construction of the Wading River WTP Emergency PFAS Treatment Project including, but not limited to, clearing and grubbing, grading, site piping, propane tank, stormwater best management practices, structural foundation, prefabricated metal building, break tank, booster pumps, particulate filtration, PFAS removal treatment equipment, mechanical piping and valves, instrumentation, HVAC, and electrical systems. Electrical systems include interior lighting, power feeders to HVAC systems, site conduits and wiring, interior conduits and wiring, connections to existing electrical service panels in the existing pump station, and repairs to the existing high lift pump in the existing pump station. Fill out Plan Holders Form to view and download the bid documents and to get notified of any addendums. Addendums will be emailed to the email address provided as well as posted under this advertisement. Bidders must meet the minimum experience requirements set forth in Article 3 of the Instructions to Bidders (Section 00100) in the Contract Documents. Each general bid must be accompanied by a DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility for Water and Sewerage Treatment Facilities and an Update Statement (Form CQ3) in accordance with MGL c. 149, s44D. Each filed sub-bid must be accompanied by a DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and Update Statement (Form CQ3) for the respective trade in which the sub-bid is submitted in accordance with MGL c. 149, s44D and s44F. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount and in the form described in the Instructions to Bidders. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price will be required in the form described in the Instructions to Bidders. Complete instructions for filing bids and sub-bids are included in the Instructions to Bidders. The bidding and award of the Contract will be under the provisions of "Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 149, Sections 44A-44J (MGL c.149, ss.44A-44J). Substantially Complete the Work within 300 consecutive calendar days thereafter and to complete the Work in full (Final Completion) within 330 consecutive calendar days thereafter. Bidder further agrees to pay as liquidated damages, and not as penalty, the sum of $2,000 per day for each consecutive calendar day of delay in Substantial Completion of the Work and $2,000 per day for each consecutive calendar day of delay in the Final Completion date of the Work beyond the periods listed herein.
