Carter County Fiscal Court Library Roof Repair

Awards will be made at the next Library Board meeting (third Wednesday of every month at 6 P.M., EST).The Carter County Fiscal Court is seeking bids for the repair the roof of the Carter County Library, Grayson Branch building, located at 116 West Main St., Grayson, Kentucky. The roof is approximately 4,700 sqft. Bids are requested for a single-ply roofing system (typical 20-year warranty). Compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act: a. All transactions regarding this contract shall be done in compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 3141-3144, and 3146-3148) and the requirements of 29C.F.R.pt. 5 as may be applicable. The contractor shall comply with 40 U.S.C. 3141-3144, and 3146-3148 and the requirements of 29 C.F.R. pt. 5 as applicable. b. Contractors are required to pay wages to laborers and mechanics at a rate not less than the prevailing wages specified in a wage determination made by the Secretary of Labor. c. Additionally, contractors are required to pay wages not less than once a week. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract, Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246 and Title VI Minority bidders are encouraged to bid. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
