Description

As of March 10,2023 this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on March 14, 2023. VALUE: ITEM 1 Stieren Park Playground - EQUIPMENT $300,000 ITEM 2 STIEREN PARK PLAYGROUND - INSTALLATION for $80,000 For Stieren Park Playground Project The City of Sunset Hills is requesting bids from qualified contractors for addition playground & Fitness equipment and accessories for the Steiren Park, 13555 West Watson Road, 63127. The Equipment will include "Cargo Net" climbing, Slide, upper body and stationary fitness equipment. Equipment will be in a flood way, area floods annually. The project will include the purchase an installation of all aid equipment. The bid amount shall not exceed $380,000 for purchase of all said equipment and installation of said equipment and shall not be less than 10% of the stated amount. Bid will be awarded at the discretion of the City on the basis of play component design. The work to be completed under this contract involves: Installation, some site preparation, and construction of the playground/fitness equipment. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, machinery, apparatus, appliances, tools, supplies, and all other items necessary to do all the work required for the completion of the work, as specified. Contractor is responsible for any construction debris removal and clean-up on a daily basis. In order to ensure the highest level of quality with respect to this public facility, the successful bidder shall have a minimum of five (5) years of successful experience. Work on this project must meet the requirements of all applicable City, local and state codes, laws and ordinances, referenced herein. The work to be done and paid for shall not be limited to the extent mentioned or described, but shall include all incidental work necessary or customarily done for the completion of the work.
