Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price (combination of base bid or alternate bid plus add-on items) for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal. All work under the contract shall be completed within (115) one hundred fifteen calendar days from the issuance of the Construction Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damagesfor delaysin completion will be assessed at $1,000.00/calendar days. Payment will be made monthly on completed work. Retainage will be held by the Owner to a maximum of ten percent (10%) of each progress payment.
