Rolling Oaks Park CMAR Project

Construct new park entrance on south end of park, and upgrade intersection of NW 183, Construct new park entry features at both entrances, including ticket booth at south entrance. Remove the existing trailer being used as a temporary recreation building and construct a new one-story welcome center of approximately 4,500 square feet. Construct new playground near welcome center building. Construct new pavilions of various sizes equipped with potable water, power and barbeque grills.. Renovate existing pavilion. Renovate existing restroom building. Demolish existing and construct new basketball and tennis courts. Expand the existing walking trail with lighting and distance marker signage. Relocate existing exercise stations to one central location. Furnish new outdoor gaming tables in central location Construct new parking lot areas and access drives throughout park. Construct new perimeter fencing. Upgrade landscaping, irrigation, site furniture, and wayfinding. Install a video surveillance system and WIFI. Rolling Oaks Park is one of the signature projects being undertaken through the General Obligation Bond program. The project is in the preliminary design phase as per the attached Exhibit “A”. Specifications have not been completed.
