Desoto County Veterans Memorial Park Boat Ramp Construction Services Project

Contractor shall construct a proposed double-wide concrete boat ramp within DeSoto County’s Veterans Memorial Park and the Peace River. The ramp will be located on the eastern side of the site between the SR 70 Bridge and the Old 70 pedestrian bridge. The boat ramp includes the concrete ramp, concrete retaining wall, gangway, floating concrete dock, steel piles, rip rap, signage and misc. components as outlined in the schedule of values and the Contract Plans. In addition to the boat ramp, the Contractor’s scope shall include site improvements such as concrete areas (sidewalks, crosswalk and temporary parking areas), finish grading of the parking area, a portion stormwater improvements, asphalt parking lot paving, best management practices and other site improvements as outlined in the schedule of values and Contract Plans.
