| Description | Project involves construction of a new 32,000 gross sf, single story educational building which will be the new home of the Dutchess Community College (DCC) Aviation program and Airframe and Powerplant Certification Program located at Hudson Valley Regional Airport. The project is located at 263 New Hackensack Road, Wappingers Falls, New York 12590. The approximate cost of construction is $12,000,000. The building includes classroom spaces, instructor offices, lecture rooms, an educational aircraft hangar, an experiential aircraft hangar, bathrooms, breakrooms, and incidental use areas (supply closets, storage, IT rooms, mechanical, etc.) The project will be built on an undeveloped site, and will include parking lots, aircraft aprons, pedestrian sidewalks, municipal water, natural gas from a Central Hudson service line, an on-site sewage disposal system, and electrical/telecom from existing service providers. |
