| Description | Provide trucks and various equipment with operators experienced in snow removal operations to establish contract for the removal of snow, ice and other frozen precipitation from various primary and interstate routes within the Salem District. The trucks shall have owner provided AVL (Automatic Vehicle Location), plows, chemical spreaders and saddle tanks as listed herein. Provide all equipment, labor, fuel, supplies, tools, transportation, qualified, experienced operator(s), and supervision necessary to perform Snow Removal Operations to remove snow, ice and other frozen precipitation on the Interstate and Primary Routes listed herein in Montgomery and Pulaski Counties including all intersections and cross-overs, etc., as directed by the VDOT Contract Administrator or designee. |
