Granger Creek Pump Station Upgrade Engineering RFP

One of the three projects is to upgrade the capacity of the Granger Creek Pumping Station, from 0.94 MGD to 2.9 MGD. The facility plan is based on the results of an intensive evaluation of the existing interceptor collection and pumping systems that transport sewage to the Water Resource Recovery Center (WRRC). The City of Dubuque, Iowa is seeking responses from industry leading, highly qualified professional consulting firms to work alongside the City to design and construct the project. The City also prefers that the Consultant be responsible for supervising any work that may be sub-contracted, including third party inspection firms. Based on written recommendation and agreement between the Consultant and City, the City shall enter into sub-consultant contracts independent of this contract if required. After a professional services agreement is negotiated, the City anticipates the Consultant will immediately begin the design work and assist city staff preparation of bidding documents; assist the City through award phases, and, perform supervision of the work, as requested. The City anticipates bidding this project in July 2022 with a final project completion date of May 2023.
