Provide Construction Inspection Services

Professional engineering consultants licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey to provide construction inspection services on the Bike Lambertville project in the City of Lambertville. This project is funded by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) through the Transportation Alternatives Program. Prime applicants must be NJDOT pre-qualified. In addition, the prime applicant and any sub-consultants must have Cost Basis Approval from NJDOT. The professional engineering consultant retained by the City of Lambertville is required to follow the guidelines/requirements of the FHWA during the construction of the Bike Lambertville project. "Proposals are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.2, et seq., and as such, contractors are exempt from the limitations on making political contributions under that law. Further, for that reason, as well as because of language in the New Jersey`s Annual Appropriations Act, refusal to disclose campaign contributions otherwise required by N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.2 et seq. and 19:44A-20.25 et seq., will not adversely affect your consideration for award." Consultants will be selected by a committee on an evaluation of the most advantageous technical proposal. Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of the following criteria: 1. Quality and Presentation of Proposal 2. Understanding of Scope of Work. 3. Firm`s experience with similar projects. 4. Relevant Experience of Project Manager and Inspector. 5. Subconsultants Experience. 6. Overall Project Team Experience. 7. Project Management Plan (QA/QC). 8. Comprehensive Work Plan and Schedule.
