Description | **As of August 17, 2022, project was awarded to Littoral, LLC but awarded amount is not available.** The work of this contract includes all materials and all labor costs involved in removing specific solar panels designated by the Woodbridge Township Board of Education, placing the equipment in district-supplied storage containers (or in a secure location on the roof) during roof repairs, and the future reinstallation of said solar equipment upon approval from the Board of Education at specific school locations on a case by case basis. Bids Must Be Submitted One (1) Labeled Original + (3) Labeled Copies All Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to Brian Wolferman, Business Administrator/Board Secretary Woodbridge Board of Education, Administration Building 421 School Street, Woodbridge, New Jersey 07095 clearly marked on the outside with the name and address of the bidder and the following information IFB23-09A Temporary Removal, Storage, and Reinstallation of Specified Solar Panels at Various Schools - 2022-2023 School Year Any general requests for information regarding this Advertisement for Bids should be directed to the Business Administrator/Board Secretary. Questions will not be entertained after 5:00 p.m. on the third (3rd) business day before the Bid Date and Time unless the Owner, in its sole discretion, believes that an answer is required in order to maintain a competitive process. No oral or other communications during the bidding process shall bind the Owner except as shall be contained in a written Addendum which the Owner may, in its sole discretion, issue in accordance with applicable law. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a cashiers check, certified check, or treasurers check drawn upon an incorporated bank or trust company and payable to Woodbridge Township Board of Education or a bid bond conforming to the specifications, in the amount of 10% of the bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of bid opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to the maximum extent of its lawful discretion. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, C. 127, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Bidders are also required to comply with N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 (Statement of Ownership Disclosure Requirement) and P.L. 2004, c. 57 (Business Registration provisions of N.J.S.A. 52:32-44). The above listing of relevant statutes and regulations is informational only and not intended to be all inclusive. Bidders are required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Bidders and/or its subcontractors must be qualified by the Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC), pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-27 through 33, and shall submit with their bids a Pre-qualification Affidavit, a copy of a valid and active NOTICE OF CLASSIFICATION, and a certified copy of a Total Amount of Uncompleted Contracts Form. Bidders and/or its subcontractors must be classified by the DPMC in one of the following categories C035 Solar Energy Systems. The Owner assumes no responsibility whatsoever in connection with any defects arising out of the issuance of the Contract Documents or the receipt or failure to receive Bids, including those which may arise from delay for any reason in obtaining or submitting the Bid, including but not limited to traffic delay, messengering, mis-labeling, mis-directions from any source, mis-delivery or otherwise. When it is in its best interest to do so and to the maximum extent of its discretion under applicable law, the Owner may award the Contract in whole or in part, select any combination of Bids and alternates, may waive any informalities, and may reject any or all Bids. Notice Bidders are advised of the responsibility to file an annual disclosure statement on political contributions with the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A20.13 et seq. (P.L. 2005, C.271, S.3) if the Bidder receives contracts in excess of $50,000 from public entities in a calendar year. It is the Bidders responsibility to determine if filing is necessary.
