Description | AMENDMENT 0002 - 07/21/2023 - THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO REVISE THE PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT AND SITE MAP/DRAWINGS TO REFLECT CHANGES MADE TO THE PROJECT. PLEASE CAREFULLY REVIEW THE REVISED DOCUMENTS TO ENSURE YOU UNDERSTAND THE REVISIONS. DUE DATE FOR OFFERS IS NOT EXTENDED. REVISED ATTACHMENTS INCLUDE THE SCHEDULE OF ITEMS, PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT AND J.5 FIGURES (5.1-5.4). CAREFULLY REVIEW THESE ATTACHMENTS FOR CHANGES RELEVANT TO YOUR PROPOSAL! Proposals are being solicited by the USDA, Forest Service for the Burke Martin Mine Non-Time Critical Removal Action (Non-TCRA) Project located on the White River National Forest in Summit County, Colorado. The overall scope of this Removal Action is to channel mine effluent away from specific contaminate source areas (waste piles and sediment tailings) and control specific contaminant source areas (waste piles and sediment/tailings areas) from migration to nearby surface water or other media/areas. Contractor, Subcontractor, and all employees are required to be certified in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 29 CFR 1910.120 1910.120(e)(3)(i) 40-Hour course for General Site Worker (HazWOPER). Project Location: The Burke Martin Mine Complex - is situated immediately on the west side of the Snake River approximately 0.6 miles above the Town of Montezuma on Co Rd 5 (Montezuma Road) (SUMMIT COUNTY, CO) The period of performance is estimated to be between July through the end of November. This depends upon the contract award date and favorable site conditions into the late season. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The attachment J.8 DWG file is available by request. The file is unable to be uploaded to SAM or sent via email due to the size (60MB). Will arrange file transfer upon request. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
