The City of Mesquite, Texas invites mailed, or hand delivered bids from all qualified vendors desiring to bid on the CROSS Elementary School Park-Irrigation and Landscaping All questions must be submitted via email by 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 3, 2023, to Ryan Williams, Manager of Purchasing at purchasing@cityofmesquite.com prior to proposal closing date. The City of Mesquite reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive formalities and to make award of bid as may be deemed to the best advantage of the City. No bid may be withdrawn within forty-five (45) days after date of opening. Scope ofWork Work limits are unfinished areas surrounding the new playground. Finish Grading 2- Irrigation 3- Sod Use A&A Irrigation to design and add sprinklers to existing system to irrigate these areas. Materials shall be same specifications as existing. Add topsoil to areas as necessary to raise the ground level to approx 2" below adjacent sidewa Iks and border. Grade area to established drainage patterns. Blend into existing landscaping slope on west side. Provide counter slope at border vzhich blends into general slope. Use TifWa'y 419 Bermuda Grass sod. Roll installation to "flat".
