Description

Question Deadline 04/12/2023 at 12:00 PM ET Fayette County is requesting quotes to asphalt pave an estimated 4409 SY reconstructed parking lot for the new fayette county Election building located at 175 Johnson Avenue, Fayetteville GA 30214. Fayette County Road Department will demo the existing pavement, prepare the gravel base for the 2 asphalt to be placed on and install new curb gutter. Estimated paving will be needed to be scheduled during the month of june 2023. Contractor shall be required to tack all vertical surfaces of existing curb gutter before paving. Asphalt paving must follow Georgia DOT specifications #400 in the 2021 GDOT source manual. Estimate 4409 SY to be paved with 12.5mm asphalt concrete at 2'' is an estimated 485 tons. On the price sheet the county has inflated this number by 10%
