Description

As of January 8, 2024, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for award has not been confirmed. Project #2 will include HVAC upgrades to Annex #2. Both will include the but is not limited to the following: Roof work, structural framing, gypsum board, metal studs, interior painting, HVAC equipment, ductwork, gas piping, electrical upgrades, roof curbs, patching, acoustical ceilings, selective demolition and other work indicated in the Contract Documents. A certified check or bank draft payable to the order of The Huntingdon County Commissioners, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid, shall be submitted with each bid. A Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the amount of the contract and issued by a corporate surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will be required to be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 calendar days of the award date. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day The Huntingdon County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all defects, errors, omissions, irregularities or informalities in any bid. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this Project. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
