HDP Raising, Under-Sealing and Leveling the Bridge I-94BL

This work consists of raising, under-sealing and leveling the bridge sleeper slab and concrete approach pavement using high density polyurethane (HDP) according to the Special Provision for Bridge Approach Stabilization with High Density Polyurethane. The work area will begin approximately 40’ west of the west reference line of I-94 BL (Stadium Drive) over US-131 and extend to the west reference line (S03-39014), including the approach portions of the ramps connecting to the west side of the bridge. Work includes injections of high-density polyurethane to lift the concrete bridge approach slab and sleeper slab to improve ride quality. Maintenance of traffic will be completed by MDOT forces with part-width detours.
