Description | The Contractor is responsible to provide environmental response on State lands under the management and control of the Department of Transportation, Harbors, Oahu District (DOTH) for Honolulu and Kalaeloa Barbers Point Harbors, 24-hours a day, seven (7) days a week as directed by the Oahu District Manager or his representatives. Used petroleum disposal services are currently performed three (3) days a week at two (2) used petroleum oil collection sites. Direct all questions regarding this Solicitation, and any questions or Issues relating to the accessibility of this Solicitation (Including the appendices and exhibits to this Document, and any other document related to this Solicitation), to: Hilton, Alan C. ALL requests for information (RFI) shall be received in writing via Electronically prior to the Question Due Date in General Information obtained Electronically. Questions received after the deadline will not be addressed. The State reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any defects in said proposals for the best interest of the public. Any proposal may be withdrawn at any time prior to the time fixed in the Notice to Bidders for the opening of proposals upon the filing of a written request therefore with the Department, executed by the bidder or a duly authorized representative. The withdrawal of a proposal shall not preclude a bidder from submitting a new proposal. The State reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any defects as may be deemed to be in the best interest of the public. The award of contract, if it be awarded, will be made within sixty (60) calendar days after the opening of bids to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder whose proposal complies with all the prescribed requirements. The successful bidder will be notified, by letter mailed to the address shown in its proposal, that its proposal has been accepted and it has been awarded the contract. Bid, Performance, and Payment Bonds are not required for this project. Agrees to begin work within 10 working days after the date of notification to commence with the work, which date is in the notice to proceed, and shall finish the entire project within the time prescribed. Contract is for a term of three (3) years commencing from date indicated in the Notice to Proceed from the State with option to extend as provided in Section 10.7. |
