Description | For the mechanical construction (HVAC replacement) project was awarded to LGB Mechanical for $504,000. For the electrical construction (HVAC replacement) project was awarded to Armour and Sons for $68,000. For the emergency generator installation project was awarded to Armour and Sons for $185,000. Total Amount= $757,000 Each bid must include Bid Security, a certified check, bank check or bid bond issued by a surety licensed to conduct business in the state of PA, in the amount of 10% of the total contract amount, including all add alternates, payable to Warminster Township. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract amount will be required to be furnished by the successful bidder with a corporate surety approved by Warminster Township. Bidding will be public, utilize Pennsylvania State Prevailing Wage Rates established by the Commonwealth of PA Department of Labor and Industry and be received in Two (2) Prime Bids for the HVAC Equipment Replacement (Mechanical Construction and Electrical Construction) and (1) Prime Bid for the Emergency Generator Installation (Electrical Construction). The Project falls under the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Public Works Employment Verification Act, Act 127 of 2012, 43 P.S. 167.1, which requires all public work contractors and subcontractors to utilize the Federal Governments E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the United States. All Bidders are required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for the Contract Award. All Bidders are required to submit the Warminster Township, Contractor Responsibility Certification Form with their bid indicating compliance with Township Ordinance No. 729, as amended by the Board of Supervisors on July 14, 2022, for selecting Responsible Contractors and Sub-contractors for public contracts. Warminster Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informality in any bid, to eliminate or reduce items or quantities, and exercise its judgement as to the comparative merit of the products and services offered. Award of the contract, if awarded, will be to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. All bidders will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this notice and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of gender, sex, age, disability, race, color, creed, ethnicity, national origin or other protected classification in consideration for an award. Similarly, the successful bidder shall not discriminate against or intimidate any employee involved in any activity required under the contract on account of gender, sex, age, disability, race, color, creed, ethnicity, national origin or other protected classification.
