2023 Public Safety Training Building

As of February 15, 2024, the project was awarded to but the awarded amount is not available. The proposed work consists of the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the construction of a new 15,000 S.F. Single Story Public Safety Training Facility. Project includes a three bay apparatus room as well as administration, classroom and support facilities. The estimate for the project is $3,000,000.00. The Project site is located at 10985 Girdled Road, Concord, Ohio 44077. Question Deadline 01/16/2024 Bidders with questions as to the true meaning of any part of the Contract Documents must submit to Dale Griffis at Cold Harbor Building Company, dgriffis@coldharbor.us, Each Proposal must be accompanied by a certified or cashier check, or an irrevocable letter of credit in the amount of ten (10%) of the amount bid or a bid bond in the amount of one hundred (100%) of the amount bid, such check or bid bond shall be made payable to the Auburn Vocational School District and to be held as a guarantee that in the event the bid is accepted and a contract awarded to the bidder, the Contract will be duly executed and its performance properly secured. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a bond for the faithful performance of the contract in the sum of not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total price bid for the complete work, said bond to be that of an approved surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio and shall be underwritten by a surety that is listed on the most current Department of the Treasury Circular 570, "Surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds The Auburn Vocational School District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, and to accept any bids which it deems favorable.
