Phase IX – Water Main Extension

Work consists principally of the following items of work: 1. Installation of approximately 3,400 linear feet of 24-inch, 20 linear feet of 16-inch, 100 linear feet of 14-inch, 100 linear feet of 12-inch, and 20 linear feet of 8-inch Class 54 cement-lined ductile iron water main. 2. Replacement and transfer of approximately six (6) water service connections. 3. Installation of approximately twenty-four (24) 24-inch buried butterfly valves. 4. Installation of approximately three (3) 16-inch buried gate valves. 5. Installation of approximately six (6) 14-inch buried gate valves. 6. Installation of approximately three (3) 12-inch buried gate valves. 7. Installation of approximately eight (8) fire-hydrant assemblies. 8. Installation of approximately eight (8) insertion-valves/line-stops ranging from 8-inch to 16-inch. 9. All other necessary appurtenances and work
