Description

The City of Pataskala Sewer Relining: Phase 1 project consists of relining approximately 4,600 feet of 8-inch and 10-inch gravity sanitary sewer main including CCTV work, pipe cleaning/flushing, bypass pumping, and reestablishing service connections. Work also consists of raising one manhole casting to grade. Bidders are required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid Price or certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit equal to ten percent of the bid amount to guarantee the Bidder's entrance into a contract, if awarded the project. Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided within these Bid Documents. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project shall to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project in addition to Domestic preferences outlined in 2 CRF 200.32. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Licking County as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration. Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission. In the event that the Owner is unable to obtain an Agreement with the Bidder initially selected, the Owner may award the contract to the next bid, most favorable to the Owner. The right is reserved by the Owner to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in bids received and to accept any bid which is deemed to be the lowest and best bid.
