Description

This scope of work is to provide a mechanical overhaul of the B451 chiller. The chiller is past its recommended timeframe for a mechanical overhaul. There is no redundant cooling system. This is a top priority system serving cooling for buildings 40, 49, 88, 123, 404, 463, 42, 78, 527, 525, and 44. The HVAC is critical maintaining the health, safety, and comfort of the airmen. The chiller is a 400 ton centrifugal McQuay model WDC087-BCCBM, S/N STNU031200110, utilizing R-134a. It was installed in 2005. Troubleshooting and recent operation indicates standard wear, as well as some flow control issues and general control issues
