Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs - Network Contracting Office 10 is seeking information in response to this Sources Sought Notice for market research purposes only. Interested Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Small Business Administration Section 8a, Women-Owned, and other socio-economically disadvantaged small businesses who believe they possess the experience and qualifications to successfully perform the scope of work described below are encouraged to respond in order for us to make a set-aside determination. Responses are being sought from qualified businesses capable of providing the required construction services outlined below. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the work is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a small business size standard of $45.0 million. This project has specific experience and qualification requirements as described in the below summary of the project scope: Description of the Scope of Work: Project 553-21-201 - Replace Concrete-Waterproofing at Red Entrance The Contractor shall provide all the equipment, material and labor to remove and replace the existing concrete surface pavement (16,000 sf), asphalt pavement (400 sf), subgrade fill, curb/gutter (200 lf), and sidewalk (500 sf), island, wall, and existing waterproofing located at the Red Entrance at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center located at 4646 John R Street, Detroit, MI 48201. The Contractor shall remove all the concrete surface pavement by method of saw-cutting above the ceiling tunnel of the Lower-Level in accordance with the drawings and specifications.
