The project calls for the current Carter Junior High to be demolished and rebuilt on what is currently the Knox Elementary School site. Roark Elementary will also be demolished. As of January 18, 2023 this project is in design. An architect has been selected. No firm timeline has been established for the construction. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
