Description

The DeSoto Meter Reconfiguration Project is generally described as the reconfiguration of an existing wholesale water meter assembly to facilitate reverse flow and the valving capability to direct that reverse flow either to flushing (i.e. reservoirs) or to the finished water storage tanks. The work will include a 20-inch diameter line stop, mechanical pipe work above and below grade with valves, various appurtenances, and concrete work for the meter slab and associated pipe supports. Connections to existing piping will all be below grade. The work also includes associated electrical and instrumentation work to support the flow meter assembly.
